"Dark Side Of The Moon" — Self-Tape Workshop - 21st July 2025, 6:30pm

In this special workshop, the theme will be darkened characters and the sides will reflect this. We will be working on the inner life of these dark, morally skewed, complex types of character that we often see in film. It will be an exciting and challenging journey, utilising different techniques, both technical and performative, to hit the right tones and create effective performances on tape.
This workshop is aligned with our signature audition-style self-tape workshop, where you get assigned sides, prepare and bring your work, which we will then build on.

More Details
Our spaces require that applicants have several years of acting experience or degree level education in acting. As such, you're expected to have a professional acting profile, this is usually **Showcast, Casting Networks, Casting.com, Altai, or Spotlight** (if you are / were UK based). You do not need to have agent representation.
Once you book, you'll received a confirmation email. A few days prior to the workshop, you'll receive another email with your sides. You can then prep your scene ready for the class.
The general format is:
- 1 rehearsal take
- First take presenting your work
- Notes (if wanted / required)
- Second take incorporating notes
You'll join a fun, creative and collaborative bunch of actors who love to regularly practice and improve!
